This training will enable you to conduct a postural examination of the body in both static and moving positions. You will learn to analyze body posture and movement, recognize the intricacies of individual postural patterns, and learn how to interpret them. You will gain hands-on experience with techniques based on the multi-planar Zoga Movement, and each technique will be presented in detail so you can immediately apply it in your therapeutic work.

During the course, you will become familiar with the anatomy of the areas discussed in this course through intensive, accessible presentations that easily introduce palpation. You will learn how to correct the most common postural defects in the feet, knees, hips, pelvis, chest, spine, and head. You will also understand the relationships between specific postural deviations and compensations, as well as the musculoskeletal connections associated with them. You will learn how to support manual interventions with appropriately directional movement and which exercises to recommend to patients for continued therapy at home.

During the course, you'll watch a demonstration session conducted by the instructor on an external patient, discussing techniques and body reading. You'll also have the opportunity to practice what you've learned on fellow trainees and a model patient (one patient per pair of therapists). The course will help you improve your body awareness, understand its movement capabilities and limitations, and develop self-development skills through daily Zogi movement activities.

The goals of the Zoga Therapy POSTURE training are:

  1. Understanding Anatomy and Palpation – Participants will learn the detailed anatomy of selected body areas, including an interesting look at anatomical structures supported by autopsy footage and palpation anatomy presented in a simple and understandable way.

  2. Developing Posture Assessment Skills – Participants will learn to assess body posture and movement by learning to read and understand the intricacies of individual postural and movement patterns.

  3. Mastering therapeutic techniques – Participants will learn and apply techniques for working with incorrect posture, which they will be able to immediately implement in their therapeutic work.

  4. Working with children – Participants will gain skills in working with children using the techniques they have learned and will also have the opportunity to practice them during demonstration sessions.

  5. Exchange of experiences and discussions – The course will enable participants to share their observations and test their skills during practical exercises.

The training also covers a detailed range of topics, including posture assessment, foot and lower limb techniques, improving thoracic and spine mobility, myofascial spiral analysis, and deep tissue work.
